Track Camera
For a bit of fun I put a small video camera in the 2-foot just before 87 set off from Pont Croesor, one day when I was on the track gang there. More information below.

Please remember to be very careful on any railway. I'm a regular volunteer on one of our track gangs and spoke with the loco crew first. Stay safe!
The device is know as a “spy” or “fob” camera, bought on ebay for under £10. The original file is better quality than I've uploaded to YouTube, but it's huge.
Plate Layers' Special
On Sunday 31st October, 2010, the Welsh Highland Railway put on a special train for track-laying volunteers. This was on the second day of passenger operation over the newly-reopened part of the WHR across Porthmadog. Taster public services will start in 2011. See http://www.welshhighlandrailway.net/
