Cardiff University, and our collaborators, are building a new cosmic microwave background telescope called QUaD (QUEST ar DASI, or QUEST at DASI) to take advantage of the extremely good conditions for astronomy at the South Pole. This year, my task was to deliver and install the optical mount (hexapod) for the secondary mirror, to check out the Dewar thermometry/control computer (TINI), and to assist with other telescope commissioning tasks.
